Description

Purpose of the service: Is to ensure that all lifting and hoisting equipment is maintained in a safe and operational condition, in compliance with Oil & Gas industry standards and regulations.

Objectives

  1. Conduct thorough inspections of all lifting and hoisting equipment.
  2. Recertify equipment that meets safety and operational standards.
  3. Identify and report any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
  4. Provide recommendations for corrective actions or replacements where necessary.
  5. Ensure all recertification is documented and compliant with relevant regulations.

Scope Of Work

The scope of services to be provided by the contractor includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  1. Visual and functional inspections of lifting and hoisting equipment including cranes, hoists, slings, shackles, and other related equipment.
  2. Load testing of equipment where required. Non-destructive testing (NDT) to detect potential flaws or weaknesses in the equipment.
  3. Calibration and certification of load indicators and safety devices.
  4. Documentation of inspection findings and provision of inspection certificates.
  5. Tagging and labeling of equipment with updated certification details.
  6. Provision of a comprehensive inspection and recertification report for each piece of equipment.

Job Requirement

Requirements

  1. Has an experience of 10 years and above on this subject
  2. Personnel must possess certification and should be from recognized bodies such as LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) or equivalent.
