Roles & Responsibilities
➢ They are responsible to arrange for rigging materials during lifting operations.
➢ They must select rigging to suit the load and install the lifting gears by complying to the lifting plan
➢ They connect and disconnect the load for any lifting operations
➢ They must participate in the TBM
➢ They must ensure that they fully understand the lifting accessories and its functions
➢ They must inspect the lifting accessories before and after use in any lifting operation
➢ They must remove defective lifting accessories from use
➢ They must have an understanding of the emergency procedures relating to lifting equipment they are using.
➢ They must carry out proper housekeeping before, during and at the end of the lifting operation.
Job Requirement
Qualification
- Technical School, SSCE, NABTEB.
- Riggers Certification
- Minimum of 3 years experience.
