MAIN FUNCTION
The Maintenance Readiness Planner operates within the Maintenance Readiness &
Assurance team. Unlike a routine execution planner, this specialized role bridges the gap
between the project EPC phase and the ultimate operational asset lifecycle. The primary
mandate is ensuring that all necessary asset data, preventative maintenance (PM) strategies, vendor documentation, and critical spare parts frameworks are seamlessly loaded into the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM/CMMS) environment well ahead of mechanical completion, plant pre-commissioning, and commercial startup.The Maintenance Readiness Planner is responsible for developing, coordinating and maintaining maintenance readiness deliverables required to support safe and reliable start-up and operations of the Company Train 7 facilities.The role provides planning, scheduling, CMMS (SAP S4HANA) data development and maintenance work management support, ensuring that maintenance strategies, work instructions, preventive maintenance plans, bills of materials and resource plans are fully developed and operationally ready prior to handover.Ensure that work is properly scoped, resourced, scheduled and executed safely and efficiently, while supporting high equipment availability, cost control and compliance with company procedures
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Critical Spares Lifecycle Prep: Support the review of Capital Spare Parts Lists (CSPL)
and Operational Spare Parts Lists (OSPL/SPIR). Link required spares to associated asset
records and build standard Bills of Materials (BOMs).
2. Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Planning: Coordinate dynamic work packages
specifically for the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and initial startup sequences of
complex systems.
3. Preservation Management: Create and oversee the asset preservation schedule for
heavy rotating machinery, cryogenic valves, and instruments while in storage or sitting
idle during the construction-to-turnover tail-end phase.
4. Technical Data Handover: Extract, compile, and format critical manuals, vendor
specifications, and regulatory documentation to populate the centralized digital twin or
technical document management platform.
5. Support the development of short-, medium- and long-term maintenance plans in
coordination with CMMS lead, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement,
Warehouse and HSE.
6. Prepare and update Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SAP PM/S/4HANA or other
approved planning and scheduling systems, as applicable.
7. Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings and provide clear updates on
progress, constraints, priorities and recovery actions.
8. Track actual work progress, productivity, labour hours, equipment utilisation and
schedule deviations.
9. Maintain accurate planning data (manpower, leave), equipment history, job plans, task
lists and work-order information in the CMMS.
10. Coordinate with Asset CPM (procurement and warehouse) teams to ensure timely
availability of materials and services.
11. Identify schedule risks, bottlenecks and potential delays and develop mitigation or
recovery plans.
12. Ensure all planned work complies with company HSE requirements, approved
procedures, statutory requirements, and relevant industry standards.
13. Analyze planning and maintenance KPIs and recommend improvements to planning
effectiveness, equipment reliability, and maintenance delivery.
14. Promote continuous improvement in work management, planning quality, schedule
compliance and maintenance execution.

Job Requirement

  • SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • HND or Bachelor’s degree in any field of engineering/science discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years oil & gas plant maintenance experience preferably in the oil and gas
    industry with at least 5 years' experience in Maintenance Planning, maintenance readiness,
  • Maintenance Engineering, CMMS Data Development, or a similar role within a complex Oil & Gas facility
  • Overarching working experience of: - Scaffolding and Work Access Provision. - Overhead and Mobile Cranes Maintenance, Heavy Lifting & Rigging. - Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC). - Plant and Residential Areas' Lighting processes. - Electrical, Instrument, Mechanical, Welding and Fabrication Workshops. - Special Measurement Analysis Recording and Testing (SMART) process. - Maintenance Field Support Services. - SAP-Plant Maintenance (PM) as a tool.
  • Experience working with P&IDs, isometrics, and control drawings for LNG Plant design,
    construction, commissioning, and start up
  • Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.
  • Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process Experience in
    Providing maintenance-related design input and working in an EPC or a plan environment is considered an advantage.
  • Working experience on part of, or the entire, ORP Project life cycle (from conceptual
    design through to final commissioning and handover) and/or in the front-line Oil and
    Gas production operations is desirable.
  • Experience in Asset Register Development and Equipment Criticality Assessment
  • Experience in Work Instruction and Maintenance Strategy Development
  • Experience with Management of Change processes, maintenance, and operations
    Integrity/Process Safety Management processes
  • Experience with MS Office and SAP would be an asset Skills and Knowledge
