MAIN FUNCTIONS
To provide IS/IT business partnering, consultancy, and business analysis support to the Drilling & Wells function, ensuring effective delivery of IS solutions, systems integration, projects, and IT services aligned with business objectives.
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development and implementation of IS strategy, plans, resource forecasts, and budgets for the client entity.
- Provide business analysis and consultancy services to identify business needs and recommend appropriate IS/IT solutions.
- Lead and coordinate significant IS/IT projects, from requirements gathering and solution design through development, deployment, and integration.
- Coordinate IST technical teams to ensure effective maintenance, support, and availability of business applications and systems.
- Evaluate and support the acquisition of new software and ensure compatibility with the company’s IS environment.
- Supervise application development, system interfaces, and maintenance of existing applications.
- Ensure integration and consistency between existing and new systems within and outside the client entity.
- Promote compliance with company IS policies, standards, procedures, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Liaise with HQ IS teams and business stakeholders to support future IS developments and digital transformation initiatives.
- Support document/archive management, shared-drive administration, access control, and digitization of business processes.
- Ensure IS activities are delivered with minimal disruption to business operations and in accordance with HSE requirements.
Job Requirement
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Sc. in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- M.Sc. in a related field is an added advantage.
- Minimum 7 years’ broad IS/IT experience, preferably covering both development and support, OR 7 years’ business experience with strong IS/IT capability.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Oil & Gas business operations and processes, particularly Drilling & Wells.
- Extensive knowledge of current and emerging IS/IT solutions and their application to business requirements.
