Description
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Coordinate and support the full project lifecycle, including scope development, engineering coordination, cost estimation, procurement, construction supervision, contractor management, commissioning, and project close-out.
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop project scopes, execution plans, BOQs, cost estimates, risk assessments, and budgets.
- Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical engineering inputs.
- Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and contractor submissions.
- Supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with approved designs, quality, HSE, and contract requirements.
- Monitor project cost, schedule, risks, quality, and progress, and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct inspections, identify non-conformances, and follow up corrective and punch-list actions.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, internal stakeholders, and facility users.
- Prepare project progress, site activity, cost, quality, risk, and HSE reports.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, handover, and user acceptance.
- Ensure completion of as-built drawings, handover dossiers, close-out reports, and project records.
- Ensure compliance with Company standards, regulatory requirements, and HSE procedures.
Job Requirement
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Eng./B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or relevant Engineering discipline.
- COREN registration is mandatory.
- NSE membership/registration is required or strongly desirable.
- Minimum 7 years’ post-qualification experience with strong experience in project execution, construction supervision, or facilities/infrastructure project management.
- Oil & Gas/Energy industry experience is required/preferred, particularly in project execution, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience delivering building, infrastructure, and construction projects from planning through close-out.
- Experience in scope development, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, risk assessment, contractor management, and project reporting.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, QA/QC, engineering codes, and HSE requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; MS Project, Primavera, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint are advantages.
- Good understanding of civil/structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical interfaces.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with contractors and consultants.
