MAIN FUNCTIONS
To ensure the accuracy, reliability, integrity and regulatory compliance of metering systems across the company’s onshore and offshore facilities by managing metering maintenance, calibration, verification, documentation, materials and contractor activities in accordance with company standards, applicable regulations, and HSE requirements.
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain fiscal, well-test, gas, water and other metering systems.
- Ensure all metering equipment, tools and materials are certified before site mobilization.
- Conduct meter proving, calibration and flow verification activities in line with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and update metering manuals, procedures, technical documentation and DCS flow-rate equations.
- Monitor metering system integrity and identify measurement inconsistencies, recommending improvements where required.
- Manage metering spare parts, materials, BOMs, functional locations and stock levels.
- Prepare SOWs and coordinate metering projects and activities carried out by external contractors.
- Support maintenance planning and follow up on scheduled metering activities.
- Liaise with well performance teams, maintenance/planning engineers, regulators, JV partners and product customers.
- Ensure contractors and company personnel comply with HSE standards and promote a strong safety culture.
- Provide timely technical support and ensure metering activities comply with company specifications and applicable international standards.
Job Requirement
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Sc./B.Eng. in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience in metering, engineering, maintenance or a similar technical role.
- Working knowledge of ISA, IEC, AGA and API standards.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and PDMS is an advantage.
- Experience with metering systems, calibration, maintenance and regulatory compliance.
