MAIN FUNCTIONS

• BW Reporting Expert
• Defines and Follow-up BW and BI4 usage policy
• Promotes a culture of reporting through BW and BI4
• Ensure the availability and smooth operation of the BW system (FB4, FB8 and FBT) and the existence of appropriate work
procedures
ASSISTANCE
• Assist Affiliate's end-users in using BW and BI solution and queries
• Identifies user needs and propose solutions
• Drives, organizes, and delivers BW and BI training/coaching
MAINTENANCE
• Escalates all necessary requests and ensures their solution
• Contributes in analyzing and developing BW and BI4 template and solution
• Test and validate corrective functions before putting in production
• Installation of BW and BI4 Change releases on both the Test system and production system
• Conduct user interface testing, installation testing, and compatibility testing for all BW usage Platform (BEX, BI4, BW WEB, BW
on Citrix, WAD).
PRODUCTION
• Maintains BW and BI4 systems, e.g., data load from R3, incident, and management
• Analyze and resolve end-user issues on reporting
• Escalates System Regression
• Scheduling and monitoring of routine and on-request data loading
• Building/redesign of process chains for monthly/weekly/daily loads.
• Correct errors on failed process chain and re-loading
• Data loading, scheduling, and monitoring data loads with Full, Delta Init & Update, and Full Repair Request.
• Activate and maintain information providers such as ODS, Info Cubes, Multi Providers, DSO, and Info Sets.
• Master data and transaction data loading into the warehouse BW via the BW workbench.
• Assist Users in Generating Various Complex Reports
• BW and BI4 user access creation and role/authorization maintenance
• BW and BI4 User license Clean up
• Assist the Closure team on report generation
• Conduct GL monthly balance reconciliation between BW and ECC
DEVELOPMENT
• Develops additional queries where required
• Propose system evolutions
QUALITY
• Identify data quality gaps for SAP data and non-respect of SAP processes and help users and the hierarchy for correction
• Ensures respect of quality standards
• Ensures coherence with template solution
REPORTING
• Controls and publishes the progress of actions/system interventions
• Communicates to users on evolutions
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for the availability and smooth operation of the BW/BI4 systems (FB4, FB8, and FBT).
• Ensures that the BW systems (FB4, FB8 and FBT) are in sync with the ECC systems.
• Ensures anomalies are corrected within the shortest time.
• Ensures that the integration test is properly done.
• Responsible for communication of evolutions to end users.
• Communicate regression to TGITS and ensure resolution.
• Responsible for the data correctness and sync of GLs Monthly Balance between BW and ECC is in sync.
• Ensures all KPI Report run by users are functional and correct.
• Coordinate support to users over weekends and public holidays
Job Requirement
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or equivalent level
• SAP BW/BI solutions consultant certification - Certification / Knowledge of SAP functional modules (FI, SCM, PM or RLM)
• Exceptional data analytical skills - Strong interpersonal skills - Excellent communication skills
• Language skills required for the position: English
• Certification required for the position: - BW Certification / Certification / Knowledge of SAP functional modules (FI, SCM, PM, or
RLM)
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems—Extensive understanding and knowledge of SAP BW/BI
reporting—Experience with full-cycle SAP implementation
• Minimum 7 years relevant professional experience. - Working knowledge of enterprise
