Description
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Coordinate and oversee the maintenance, reliability, and performance of electrical and electromechanical systems across Company facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. Manage contractor performance, technical service delivery, maintenance planning, procurement, and budget execution while ensuring compliance with HSE standards, contractual requirements, and operational best practices to optimize asset reliability, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ELECTRICAL/ELECTROMECHANICAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT:
• Coordinate and monitor all electrical/electromechanical maintenance works (corrective and preventive)
• Ensure PPM schedules are respected, reports analyzed, and all anomalies closed out
• Manage equipment including lifts (22 units), UPS (31 units), fire pumps, smoke detection, fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, fire suppression systems
• Ensure optimal availability and safe operation of all systems
• Execute and supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on electrical systems.
• Ensure continuous operation of electrical infrastructure supporting business activities.
• Monitor system health and performance to prevent failures and downtime.
• Ensure complete maintenance documentation and asset history records.
• Support emergency response activities during utility failures.
2. CONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION:
• Indirectly supervise 4 Facility Management Companies (110+ technical personnel)
• Coordinate FM services contracts across Deep Water Logistics Base and other locations
• Assist in coordinating FM Contracts in all company owned and leased sites
• Ensure contractor compliance with technical standards and HSE requirements
• Monitor contractor performance against SLAs
3. BUDGET & COST MANAGEMENT:
• Assist in preparation of annual Technical Facilities management budget
• Follow up on cost performance against budget
• Ensure works carried out within budget and cost-efficiently
• Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
• Analyze/verify quotes to maximize value and cost-effectiveness
• Review and recommend internal commitment on Work Orders
• Provide technical approval on invoices
4. PROCUREMENT & CONTRACTS:
• Prepare Call for Tender (CFT) documents
• Review technical specifications with Manager
• Launch CFT and follow up with C&P department
• Evaluate contractor bids and make recommendations
• Ensure prompt approval of Vendor Job Orders
5. SERVICE DELIVERY & USER SUPPORT:
• Ensure all electrical/electromechanical work requests completed satisfactorily within SLA
• Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
• Provide prompt response to requests and issues from users
• Ensure feedback provided to requesters
• Generate snag lists for new projects and ensure closeout
6.SPECIALIZED SYSTEMS COORDINATION:
• Coordinate maintenance of industrial kitchen equipment (cold rooms inclusive)
• Manage ATS Panels with integrated backup switching for IST data center
• Oversee power installation and distribution management systems
• Coordinate water and sewage treatment plant operations
• Interface with other entities for technical facility services.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by hierarchy.
7. HSE LEADERSHIP:
• Coordinate HSE activities and report for the department
• Ensure Company HSE objectives met through PTW system
• Plan and conduct safety drills
• Enforce contractor compliance on safety awareness
• Manage Permit to Work processes for electrical works
8. OFFICE SPACE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT:
• Assist in office space management works
• Modify fire safety protection systems for occupants
• Configure localized power interface systems
• Support facility modifications and reconfigurations
9. PROJECTS AND TECHNICAL UPGRADES
• Participate in facility upgrade and expansion projects.
• Prepare technical specifications and scopes of work.
• Review engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Support contractor evaluations and technical bid reviews.
• Monitor project execution and compliance with specifications.
• Participate in commissioning and acceptance testing activities.
• Contributes to ensuring equipment reliability and availability as a measure of service quality.
HSE OBJECTIVES
• Closely related to HSE in operations to help in guaranteeing safe work processes and environment.
Assists in the close out of all pending Synergy actions/recommendations.
Familiarize self with Company's emergency procedures, carry out assigned responsibilities safely and report any incident, unsafe act or operation.
Support the anomaly and downgraded situations tracking and closure process.
Supports the Permit to Work (PTW) process & Perfect Day initiative at its location.
Assists in ensuring closure of outstanding Synergy recommendations
Job Requirement
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Good HND or university degree in electrical electronics engineering.
- Trained or certified auditor
- Minimum of 8-12 years post NYSC professional work experience.
- Experience in operations and maintenance of commercial buildings, industrial facilities, oil & gas installations, airports, hotels, hospitals, or large infrastructure environments.
- Experience managing critical power systems and building infrastructure.
- Effective communication skills in English Language demonstrated in oral and written business communications with people and business presentation skillsets.
- Working knowledge of:
- Windows 10 Professional or Enterprise operating system.
- HSEQ principles and methodologies of the local or global oil and gas industry would be an advantage.
Working experience in sap pm, or other CMMS platform, Building Management system, MS Office suite, SharePoint, Forms, Power Automate and Power Apps would be an advantage.
