Inventory Clerk

Main Function

Provide administrative and logistics support by coordinating inventory records, processing data accurately, and maintaining documentation to ensure efficient warehouse and logistics operations. Monitor and track inventory movements, prepare loading instructions, perform physical inventory counts, and update logistics management systems while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. Support inter-office coordination, maintain effective communication across logistics teams, contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives, and perform additional duties as required to achieve organizational objectives.

 Excellent organization and documentation skills
 Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
 Strong data entry and analytical skills
 Must be willing and capable of quickly learning new office related and data entry software.
 Physically capable of lifting 20kg over head
 Physically capable of climbing ladders, climbing in and out of various vehicles (forklifts, trucks, cranes
etc.)
 Physically capable of working outdoors in high-humidity conditions and high-weather temperature
 Record and track warehouse inventory movements
 Plan and issue instructions for loading trucks and containers
 Perform data entry into the logistics inventory management system as required
 Perform physical inventory counting
 Handle inter-office duties and reports, supporting other sections of Logistics
 Support a working environment of empowerment that takes responsibility for personal quality of work
 Operate Q-Chem within the culture, laws, and environment of Qatar
 Responsible for all aspects of team safety within Logistics
 Maintain effective team communications
 Actively participate in any Q-Chem Safety Program (QSAFE, Safety Audit, Safety Campaign,
Housekeeping, etc.)
 Support Qatari Development Program
 Perform other duties in addition to regular duties as required

Job Requirements

 Minimum 21 years of age
 Graduate of Secondary Education (High School) or Trade Diploma
 Proficient on reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English language.
 Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and software application is an advantage.
 With or Without Qatar Driving License
 At least 2 years’ experience in petrochemical plants, forklift operation, and Warehousing

Training and Certification Requirements
 Shall obtain valid Qatari driving license for a forklift. The contractor company will arrange it if none.
