JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced Adviser to provide strategic guidance on upstream business development, asset optimization, and commercial negotiations. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, technical expertise, and exceptional advisory skills.
KEY RSPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic counsel to senior management on upstream business development, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
- Develop and recommend upstream business strategies.
- Advise on commercial negotiations with partners, suppliers, and governments.
- Develop and negotiate contracts, joint venture agreements, and other commercial arrangements.
- Ensure alignment with company objectives and strategic plans.
- Provide technical guidance on upstream operations (drilling, production, reservoir management).
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop innovative solutions.
- Identify opportunities for production enhancement and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement asset optimization plans.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Relevant Professional certifications
- International experience in upstream operations.
- 20+ years of experience in upstream oil and gas, with 10+ years in leadership/advisory roles.
- Deep industry knowledge, technical expertise, and commercial acumen.
- Proven track record of successful negotiations, deal closures, and strategic partnerships.
- Exceptional advisory, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
