JOB SUMMARY:
Downstream is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue within the downstream sector, focusing on product lines, client relationships, and market expansion. This role demands a strong background in downstream oil and gas sales, as well as a strategic vision to meet organizational goals in a competitive market environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned with the company's downstream business objectives.
- Identify market opportunities, set sales targets, and define KPIs to achieve strategic goals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the downstream sector.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and agreements with multinational clients.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Monitor performance and provide coaching and feedback to enhance team capabilities.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging industry trends.
- Develop initiatives to increase market share and expand the client base.
- Oversee the sales budget, monitor sales performance, and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analysis for management review.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Provide insights into product development and customer requirements.
