TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST
Description
Responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from finding, attracting, and hiring top talents to meet our Projects and organization's staffing needs.
Specific Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing and Recruitment:
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talents for EPCIM roles in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry-specific platforms, to identify qualified candidates.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
Candidate Screening and Assessment:
- Conduct thorough screening of resumes and applications to identify candidates with the right technical skills and experience.
- Administer technical assessments and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and alignment with project requirements.
- Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner closely with hiring managers and Project leaders to understand their talent needs and project timelines, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and market insights.
- Advise hiring managers on best practices for talent acquisition and candidate evaluation.
Employer Branding:
- Promote the company as an employer of choice within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Represent the company at industry events, career fairs, and networking sessions.
- Develop compelling job descriptions and recruitment marketing materials.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and local labor laws.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Manage offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documentation.
Onboarding Support:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Facilitate orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company culture, policies, and project expectations.

Job Requirement
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline, preferably in the Social Sciences
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years preferably within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Certification in HR or Talent Acquisition (e.g., CIPM, CIPD, PHR) is an added advantage.
- Proven track record of recruiting for EPCIM roles (e.g., Project Engineers, Procurement Specialists, Construction Managers, Installation Supervisors, Admin Support, etc).
- Familiarity with technical roles and requirements in large-scale engineering, energy, and construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, ATS, and sourcing techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of Oil and Gas industry trends, challenges, and talent markets.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
