Description
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Manage the inspection, maintenance, certification, issuance, and inventory control of maintenance tools, lifting equipment, and tackles to ensure their availability, safety, and compliance with Company HSE standards. Support maintenance operations by maintaining accurate tool records, coordinating procurement, conducting Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and toolbox talks, leading work crews, and ensuring safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities.
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand and apply the plant safety standards and maintenance procedures while performing the
work.
Able to identify various tools in the maintenance industry.
Able to identify and maintain lifting tackles and their procedural needs.
Working knowledge of tools and their upkeep.
Able to fix common problems associated with tools,
Able to maintain adequate levels of tools and anticipate requirements.
Maintain records of tools issue at tool crib.
Able to specify tools and procure.
Understand the requirements of HSE concerning the inspection of tools and tackles.
Maintain certification records of tools and tackles.
Required to fix small mechanical items like pneumatic wrenches, tricycles etc., Ability to lead the work
crew team, need good communication skill and requires good leader ship skill.
Ability to conduct JSA and toolbox meetings.
Ability to work at Elevated heights
Job Requirement
SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree or HND in any Engineering course
Fluent knowledge of English language (speak, read) and a graduate certificate from High School (10th Standard)
Experience certificate for Workshop from Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Plant.
Three years work experience in similar capacity in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Plant.
Location: Qatar
Additional Requirement: Candidates must possess a valid international passport.
